Terms of Service

The rules for using MicroLearnerAI. Plain version: be reasonable, and so will we.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of microlearnerai.com and the MicroLearnerAI application (the "Service"), operated by MicroLearnerAI ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your account information accurate.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing (Stripe)

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as otherwise shown at checkout) through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the Settings or Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If you believe a charge is an error, contact support@microlearnerai.com before filing a dispute.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to your next renewal.
• Failed payments may result in downgrade to the free tier or suspension of paid features.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or infringe anyone's rights (including intellectual-property and privacy rights).
• Generate or distribute malware, spam, phishing content, or deceptive or fraudulent material.
• Upload content you have no right to share, including other people's personal data or confidential information.
• Probe, attack, or overload the Service or its infrastructure, scrape it at abusive volumes, or attempt to bypass plan limits or access controls.
• Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.

We may remove content and suspend accounts involved in abuse, with or without notice where the situation requires it.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for you (including routing it to AI model providers to generate responses). Content you publish to a public space (such as shared skills or shared artifacts) is visible to others; do not publish anything sensitive.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate text, code, spreadsheets, presentations, and other output. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or nonsensical, and may occasionally resemble existing third-party material. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, and for deciding whether it is suitable for your purpose. Do not use the Service as a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). We do not guarantee that generated output is accurate, unique, or fit for any particular use.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party services such as Stripe (payments), Google Sign-In (authentication), Microsoft Clarity (analytics), and AI model providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. If you connect your own AI API key, your use of that provider is solely between you and that provider.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time; for material reductions to a paid plan we will provide reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MicroLearnerAI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (US$100) if you have not paid us anything. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places our liability is limited to the smallest extent the law permits.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and billing amounts owed) survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
